In the past decade, Batu Kawan has evolved from a quiet township into a vibrant center of industrial expansion, creating numerous opportunities for commercial and developmental ventures. Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow highlighted these remarkable advancements during the inauguration of the A-Park@Batu Kawan Sales Gallery.

Chow emphasized that A-Park@Batu Kawan symbolizes more than just physical space; it represents a dedication to progress and sustainability. The recent opening of the second bridge has significantly improved connectivity, further boosting the area’s economic potential and attracting substantial investments.

The Chief Minister expressed his appreciation for the collaborative efforts of state and federal agencies in bringing investments to Penang. He underscored the importance of the Penang International Airport expansion and the LRT project as key developments enhancing infrastructure and driving economic growth.

Chow also extended his gratitude to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim for his support in the launch of Batu Kawan Industrial Park 3, noting Penang’s vital role in the nation’s economic success.

Looking ahead with optimism, Chow discussed the A-Park@Batu Kawan development, which includes 50 Light Industrial Factory units designed to promote business collaboration and growth. This initiative aims to enhance synergy among businesses and create new opportunities for economic advancement.

In addition, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Ancubic Group and the ESG Association of Malaysia, underscoring a commitment to sustainable practices and growth in the region. This agreement highlights Batu Kawan’s emergence as a dynamic economic hub.

With ample land available for foreign direct investments over the next five years, Batu Kawan is set to continue its trajectory as a beacon of economic vitality. The area’s development reflects resilience and ambition, showcasing Penang’s potential for sustained growth and prosperity.
